Uwants and Amusic Launched i-Star Talent Contest Guessing Game and Cover Song Contest

Uwants cooperated with Amusic and launched i-Star talent contest guessing game and a cover song contest from Nov to Dec, 2012. Uwants members were invited to guess the result of the i-Star talent contest (Singing Contest hosted by Amusic). The first member who guessed the result correctly will be the winner. There were total four rounds of guessing game. The winners can received a 999-gold gold coins collection sponsored by 3D-GOLD Jewellery (valued $5000 each). On the other hand, Uwants.com has also launched a cover song contest from 12th November – 28th December, 2012. Members were invited to record cover version of Jordan Chan’s song(難怪) and Janice M. Vidal’s song(他不慣被愛). Mr. Cheng Kwok Keung and Ms. Tabitha Ng who gained most support from Uwants members, became the winners of the cover song contest. They both were given a 999-gold gold coins collection sponsored by 3D-GOLD Jewellery (valued $5000 each).  

Discuss.com.hk and musicNext launched a lyrics rewriting competition

Discuss.com.hk and musicNext launched a lyrics rewriting competition from 8th October to 21st October, 2012. Participants picked up a song from pop singer Kellyjackie’s latest album “7 Years” and rewrote the lyrics of that song. This competition has attracted over 30 members to join. Prizes and vouchers valued over $15,000 were given out to the winners. And the winning piece was sung by Kellyjackie during the prize-giving ceremony.

Supporting local art and culture, “Star Artists” are invited to join Uwants.com

To show our support towards local art and culture, Uwants.com has started to invite local artists and designers to join our “Star Artists” campaign since September 2012. “Star Artists” can share their latest creations by posting on the forum page“Creative area”. Their illustrations will also have a chance to be posted on the first page of Uwants.com (under the “Supporting local art and culture” column). In other words, their creations were seen by over 2 million Uwants members. Moreover, we have also invited the “Star Artists” to cooperate with Discuss Weibo and Uwants Weibo. They are invited to design the background illustration for various Weibo tasks. This has further increase the exposure of local artists and their creations towards our members.

The official account of Price.com.hk on WeChat has launched since September, 2012. And the kick off message was about the daily updated price and sales information of iPhone 5 in Hong Kong. Weibo Reward launched a Mid-Autumn promotion game campaign

Weibo Reward (bonus Points’ Scheme) has organized a Mid-Autumn promotion game from 3rd September to 9th September, 2012. Within the game period, users of Discuss Weibo and Uwants Weibo may use their points to join the game. Over 200 members have joined the campaign and 3 entries were selected as the best pieces. Each winner received special moon cake package vouchers. In addition, the first 50 participants (who voted for the food item which was closest to 99 votes), would receive cake vouchers.
