Uwants X SingsingRabbit release Uwants 10th anniversary micro-film To celebrate our 10th Anniversary, Uwants.com has invited the famous web singer Singsing Rabbit to carry out a collaborative project in July 2014. We are honored to have Singsing Rabbit and her team to produce the micro-film and the theme song ”Uwant To Be…”. The micro-film aims to recall us a neglected fact in this cyber age: Internet brings people closer rather than separating them apart. Although we are facing the non-living computers, we should be reminded that there are always friends, family members, lovers, schoolmates or colleagues who care about us at the other side of the computer.

Stories from users with different backgrounds have shown us the diversity of styles and culture among Hong Kong people. Discuss.com.hk and Uwants.com Launches World Cup Feature Section To provide a designated discussion platform for the world’s greatest football match, both Discuss.com.hk and Uwants.com have launched a World Cup feature section since 21st May, 2014. In total, there were over 8,900 topics and 130,000 replies on the both feature sections. Apart from providing well-rounded news, an interactive World Cup Guessing Game was also held on the feature section. Members could guess and vote for the result of each football match. The game attracted 6,795 participants and the winners were given sportswear coupons (valued around HK$10,000 in total). Besides, we also launched a campaign on Instagram. Members could share photos and videos about World Cup 2014 with the other football lovers. Uwants 10th Anniversary ─ Hall of Fame To celebrate the 10th Anniversary, Uwants.com has started a series of campaign since May 2014. The first game campaign was the “Hall of Fame”. The nomination period started from 21th May to 27th May, 2014. During the period, every member could nominate one remarkable member on Uwants.com. At last, 889 members participated in this event and 20 “Anti-Ban Badge” were given to the top-10 remarkable members and their nominators, they could use the badge to prevent themselves from being banned for once.
